White is the new green! Up to 40% of a city’s impervious area is composed of roof area. Thermoplastics are a step towards an earth friendly building or facility. White materials reflect the sun’s radiant heat and may have a high thermal emittance value.
EPDM has a proven track record and has been installed by Omnipresence for over 17 years. EPDM can endure almost anything that nature can throw at it – from blazing, hot sun to frigid, cold winter – and still hold up very well. Its properties of resilience, tensile strength, elongation, resistance to ozone, ultraviolet light and ponding make it an excellent, strong roofing material. EPDM roofs can be installed by using three different methods.
Unlike roof systems that are mechanically attached or adhered, Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is sprayed onto a roof (and has a variety of coatings). It is a seamless application of polyurethane foam that has excellent adhesion properties and can be an outstanding roof system where wind uplift is a concern. Since tear-off of the current roof is not always needed, SPF can help to reduce cost, noise and inconvenience during installation.
There are times when you may need a new roof. However, there are times when coatings may help enhance your current roof system and provide Energy Efficient . Roof coatings can be applied to EPDM, metal, modified bitumen and BUR. Coatings fills in cracks and seal porous mortar and masonry. They will expand and contract with metal panels while providing weatherproofing for your roof. Omnipresence offers a variety of coatings for your roofing needs.
BUR (Built-Up Roofing): We offer traditional multi-ply BUR (Built-Up Roofing) roof systems. As one of the oldest low-slope roof systems, it’s still applied to commercial roofs today.
In older metal roofs, problems can occur that are caused by the movement and subsequent loosening of the roof system and fasteners. Seam separations, loose flashings and rusting metal panels can lead to roof failure if you are not proactive. Omnipresence has options for restoring your metal roof, without having to complete a total roof replacement. EPDM membrane or TPO membranes installed as topcoats are possible solutions.

Modified Bitumen: The combination of the familiarity and dependability of traditional BUR with the addition of polymer modification. Modified systems are highly tear-resistant making them ideal for heavy traffic.
Steep slope roofing typically refers to roofing materials suitable for roofs that have slopes of 3:12 or greater. These materials include asphalt roll roofing, asphalt shingles, concrete and clay tiles, wood shakes, slate and metal roofs. In addition to this, some of the modified bituminous roofing, as well as certain adhered, single- ply membranes and SPF foam, can also be used in certain steep slope roofing applications
